Bridgewater Council venue shifted to Bridgewater Fire Hall due to renovations

By Evan Taylor Sep 5, 2023 | 3:02 PM

The upcoming Town of Bridgewater Council meeting scheduled for September 11, 2023,  will be relocated to the Bridgewater Fire Hall, located at 81 Dominion Street. The meeting is scheduled to commence at 6 p.m. This relocation is a result of ongoing renovations being carried out at the Council Chambers situated at Town Hall.

The change in venue is anticipated to provide a smooth transition for all attendees. Those planning to participate in the meeting are encouraged to park in the rear parking lot of the Bridgewater Fire Hall. Once parked, attendees can conveniently access the meeting by entering through the rear entrance. Interior signage will be in place to guide individuals upstairs to the designated meeting room.

For the convenience of residents unable to attend in person, the Council meeting will continue to be livestreamed on the Town’s official Facebook page. Additionally, following the meeting, an archived recording of the proceedings will be accessible on the Town’s YouTube page.

Please note that the Discussion Session scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2023, will remain at its usual location in the Committee Room at Town Hall.

This venue change aims to ensure the continuity of the Council’s activities while accommodating essential renovations. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to stay engaged and informed about local governance by participating in the meeting either in person or through online platforms.

For more details and updates, please visit the Bridgewater Town Council’s official website or contact the Town administration for further information.
