Splash Pad at Prince Arthur's Landing - File Photo

September 4th will mark the beginning of the end of splash pad season here in Thunder Bay.

The pads located at North End and Franklin Street Parks will be open that day but close for the winter at 8:00 p.m.

However, there will still be opportunities to splash about for the next two weeks at the Northwood Playfield, Prince Arthur’s Landing and County Park pads.

They will remain open until September 17th, after which staff will perform maintenance to prepare them for next summer.
