An important part of the Wharf Rat Rally is coming up.

The Afghanistan War Memorial motorcycle ride goes tomorrow from Digby to Maple Grove School in Hebron.

Yarmouth coordinator Andre Boudreau says they’ll stop at the war memorial around noon and pay tribute to those lost.

“Once they get there and get organized, they have a ceremony, there will be speaking. They’ll do a presentation of any funds raised to the Rally Point Retreat in Sable River,” said Boudreau.

It’s held in memory of Master Cpl. Darren Williams, who organized the first memorial ride.

He was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2015.
