There is another lengthy power outage planned for the Rainy River District.

This one will impact Hydro One users living to the east of Fort Frances through to Rainy River and Lake of the Woods township.

This includes the townships of Rainy River, Chapple, LaVallee, Lake of the Woods, Emo, Morley and Alberton, Manitou Rapids, Big Grassy River, Big Island and Rainy Lake 17A First Nations, and the unorganized townships of Worthington, Sifton, Atwood, Dilke, Nelles, Wildland Game Reserve, Dance, Lake Despair, Miscampbell, Pratt, Patullo, Aylsworth, Blue, Sutherland, Curran, Roseberry, and Spohn.

Residents in those areas will lose power on Sunday, September 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Hydro One says it is for maintenance reasons.

The outage will not impact the town of Fort Frances.
