(Shelburne Town Hall)
The Town of Shelburne announced its new chief administrative officer today.
Sarah Mattatal will step into the role after spending the past nine years working in various departments of town hall such as Manager of Human Resources and Administration including facilities management, human resources management, procurement, and insurance.
“After several years of working alongside hard working and dedicated staff members, I am humbled to continue this journey with them in the new position, supporting a devoted Council and fellow Town residents,” said Mattatal in a press release.
She will officially take on the position on September 5th, succeeding interim CAO Ken Smith.
In her role as CAO, Mattatal will serve as the link between town council and department staff to ensure council decisions are properly implemented.
