An investigation into a sexual assault in Fort Frances has led to charges against a man in that community.

Ontario Provincial Police say they began their investigation after receiving a report of the incident on August 16th.

The 69 year old faces one count of sexual assault.

He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
