Three more doctors coming to the community

By Tim Davidson Aug 25, 2023 | 3:02 PM

Dryden will have three more doctors working in the community over the next couple of years.

Recruitment and fundraising manager Chuck Schmitt says two of the doctors recently committed for at least two years after their residency is done.

“The most meaningful and impactful recruitment measures are providing a great living and learning experience for them and they liked what they saw,” explains Schmitt.

“For that matter, we also liked what we saw.  These are two really high performing, great people.  They are going to fit in nice with our health care team.”

Schmitt adds that it not only fills their need for more doctors, but helps in other ways as well.

“You know, when you have commitments like that, people coming here, it makes it easier to recruit, because the numbers of physicians here are growing.  We have a nice mix of new and experienced physicians and it makes it easier to attract other people to come and work here.”

Schmitt says the two doctors will join another physician in Dryden in the fall of 2025.
