Two killed in Thursday night crash near Martock

Two people died and four were injured in a late-night head-on collision near Martock.

Emergency crews responded just before 11pm to the collision between a Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Ford F-150 on Highway 14 (Chester/Windsor Road) in Windsor Forks Thursday, August 24.

A 20-year-old man from Newport Station and a 20-year-old woman from Three Mile Plains were declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the Monte Carlo a 21-year-old Windsor man as well as the passenger a 22-year-old man from Three Mile Plains, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the F-150, a 53-year-old New Russell man and the passenger, a 49-year-old New Russell woman had minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
