The Kenora U18 AAA Thistles have released their roster for the coming season.

The final selection camp was held over the weekend.

There are only four returning players from last year, but assistant coach Cam Novak likes the make-up of the team.

“It will be a competitive team, we have a lot of size, skill and speed,” says Novak.

“We kind got everything.  A mix of younger guys and older guys.  I think we’ll have a good group this year and we’ll be competitive.”

In all there are 20 players coming from all over northwestern Ontario including six from Kenora, five from Fort Frances along with players from Thunder Bay, Dryden, and Sioux Lookout.

The regular season in the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League will begin at the end of September.
