The Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating an ATV crash that left a man dead this weekend in Inverness County.

Officers responded to reports of the crash at around d7:20 p.m. on August 19. They learned that the ATV had been travelling south on MacIntyre Mountain Road in Glenora when the driver attempted to turn around and head back north. He lost control of the vehicle and ended up in the ditch.

The 59-year-old man from Judique was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred just hours before  10-year-old also died while riding an ATV in Yarmouth county.

Both investigation are ongoing.
