A Windsor Junction man is facing heavy charges after police found evidence of the creation of child pornography in his home.

Between July 14 and July 19, police executed multiple search warrants on 57-year-old Robert Edward List’s home. They seized photo studio equipment, electronics with child pornography stored on them, firearms, and ammunition. It’s part of the RCMP’s ongoing investigation into the creation of child pornography.

Police have charged List with 19 offences including many related to crimes against children. Below are some of the crimes for which he stood trial today in provincial court:

  • Sexual Assault;
  • Luring a Child;
  • Making Child Pornography;
  • Possession of Child Pornography;
  • Invitation to Sexual Touching;
  • Sexual Interference;
  • Unsafe Storage of a Firearm;
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.

The RCMP believes the crimes took place between 2006 and 2023.

List has been released from custody under strict conditions and was ordered to reside in Lunenburg County, where he will be electronically monitored. His conditions also include that he cannot access the internet, nor have contact with any person under the age of 16.
