A man was arrested in earlier this week for assaulting somebody outside of a Sobeys in Sydney.
Cape Breton Regional Police responded to reports of an altercation outside of the Prince Street Plaza on August 15th. They learned that a 43-year-old man had attacked somebody with what looked like a knife.
EHS were also on the scene, but nobody had injuries that needed medical attention.
The man is set to stand trial in provincial court where he is charged with assault with a weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The trial is scheduled for October.
