Police have arrested a North Preston man wanted on a province-wide-arrest warrant.

East Hants RCMP were looking for 47-year-old Burt “Dangulo” Thompson who is charged with assault with choking as well as stealing a vehicle.

He stole a red 2002 Volvo V70 with a Nova Scotia license plate GHE 544.

Thompson was also wanted by Halifax police after an arrest warrant was issued for an incident in East River St. Mary’s in April.
