Police have now issued an arrest warrant for a 50 year old man in connection to a suspicious death in Sabaskong Bay.

Members of the Treaty Three Police Service responded to a home on Anishinaabe Road just after 1:30 p.m. on August 7th where they located a deceased woman.

She has been identified as 48 year old Andrea Harper.

Jeffrey Kelly, a resident of Sabaskong Bay, is wanted for aggravated assault.

While residents are being advised not to approach the accused if spotted and to call police, investigators do not believe there is an imminent threat to public safety.

The investigation is being conducted jointly between the Treaty Three Police Service, along with the Ontario Provincial Police’s Northwest Region Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services Unit, under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
