Moncton manufacturer receives provincial funds for expansion

Up to 34 new full-time jobs for Moncton thanks to $280,000 in payroll rebates from the provincial government.

Opportunities NB is providing support for a workforce expansion project at the headquarters of Greystone Energy Systems Inc. between 2022 and 2025.

It estimates the project will contribute $11.9 million in incremental GDP over its lifetime.

“With this funding, we will be able to support our growth and sustain demand for our products as we strive to be the premier independent supplier of high-quality sensing and measurement devices to the HVAC industry,” said Robin Drummond, president and CEO of Greystone Energy System.s

Established in 1983, the company is one of the leading ISO-registered manufacturers of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) sensors and transmitters for Building Automation Management Systems.

It has 140 employees at nine locations, including regional sales in Dubai, India, Singapore and Malaysia.
