What fans need to know for Guns N’ Roses/Carrie Underwood show

Saturday is concert day in the Hub City. It’s a first for the Croix Bleue Medavie Stadium that, at full, capacity can hold around 22,500 fans.

The main gates will for the Guns N’ Roses and Carrie Underwood show will open at 4:30 p.m., but there is also a pre-concert party at 2:30 p.m.

Explore New Brunswick will host a FanFest including Local NB food sampling, busker-style entertainment, Parlee Beach experience, a live artist show, lawn games and activities and a fan fest photo booth.

For those attending the show, there is also a full list of things you should and shouldn’t bring.

“No bags, no chairs, no big umbrellas, no outside food and drink. You can bring a small clear zip-lock style bag, 12x6x12. You can bring a small collapsible umbrella. No chairs but you can bring a blanket,” says city spokesperson Aloma Jardine.

No cash will be accepted on-site, only debit or credit cards. The show is expected to start at around 6 p.m. and wrap up by 11 p.m.

The best way to get to the show is onboard the Park ‘N Ride shuttle that will leave from the Moncton Coliseum. $25 gets you a pass to catch the shuttle which will get you to and from the concert. The shuttle drop-off zone will be near the stadium, allowing attendees to walk directly to the gate.

Bracelets will be available for purchase on event day at the Park ‘N Ride booths in the Moncton Coliseum parking lot, with cash only.

The shuttle will depart starting at 1:30 p.m. Post-event shuttles will depart from the same drop-off location near the stadium and will continue to transport attendees to the Moncton Coliseum until all customers have been returned. Bracelets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
