Western Nova Scotia Exhibition returns to Yarmouth

By Kevin Northup Aug 1, 2023 | 12:55 PM

The Western Nova Scotia Exhibition is back tomorrow.

It’s the Ex with all the Extras, as the annual event takes over Mariners Centre from August 2nd to 5th.

Organizer Amy Rose says they’ll have a children’s midway this year.

“Last year we had Yarmouth Big Bounce, and they are coming back. This year we’ll be joined by Murphy’s Midway, who are bringing a couple of rides for children,” said Rose.

Entertainment this week includes Carson Fullerton, tributes to Zac Brown Band and Alabama and UCW Wrestling.

That’s along with ox and horse events, and the famous truck pulls.

Rose says it’s 10 dollars a day for adults.

“Children aged 5-12, it will be 5 dollars, and children under 5 get in for free.”

It’s also 2 dollars to park, in support of Yarmouth Ground Search and Rescue.
