Rotary St-Anselme Park in Dieppe was closed for most of the day on Saturday due to an RCMP Operation.
A social media post from RCMP New Brunswick said officers were on the scene at the park near Melanson Road. It also stated there was no risk to the public.
Walking and biking trails were also closed temporarily.
The City of Dieppe also released a statement advising of the closure.
RCMP posted again at around 7:50 a.m. Sunday that the police operation had concluded.
The City of Dieppe stated the park would reopen at 8 a.m.
No further details about the incident have been released yet.

Rotary St-Anselme Park will be open to the public as of 8 a.m. (Sunday, July 30). Normal activities within the park can resume. The RCMP will provide further information when possible. We would like to thank residents for their cooperation.
