The CFL takes over Halifax this Saturday.
Touchdown Atlantic heads to Huskies Stadium, as the Toronto Argonauts take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The league announced last month that tickets were sold out for the big game, but limited tickets were added in the party zone.
CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie says it’s excited to be embraced by the region.
“To see the support from the fans, Haligonians and Atlantic Canadians who just want to enjoy CFL football, it’s been very gratifying,” said Ambrosie.
He said he’s optimistic that a 10th franchise can come to the Atlantic region.
“We’ve done our part as a league, now an ownership group has to send us the signal that they want us to come here, and I think there’s a very good possibility.”
A pre-game tailgate party will start at 1:30, kick-off is scheduled just after 5 p.m.
