By Brad Perry Jul 28, 2023 | 10:33 AM

There has been another fatal crash on New Brunswick roadways.

RCMP say it happened in the community of Memramcook around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say it is believed a motorcycle ran off the road on Pré D’en Haut Street.

A 20-year-old man from Stilesville, near Moncton, died at the scene from his injuries.

In a news release on Friday, police said they are still piecing together the cause of the crash.

Wednesday’s crash was the fourth fatal collision in New Brunswick in just two days.

Six people died in three separate crashes across the province on Tuesday.

The first happened along Route 2 in Whites Cove, east of Fredericton, shortly after 1 p.m.

RCMP said four vehicles — a transport truck, a delivery truck, a minivan and a pickup truck — were involved in the crash.

A 55-year-old woman from Oshawa, Ont., a 54-year-old man from Greater-Lakeburn, N.B., and a 32-year-old man from Timber River, N.B., died at the scene.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The highway remained closed until early Wednesday evening as crews worked to repair damage to the roadway.

Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, a half-ton truck and a loaded logging truck collided on Route 8 in Miramichi.

A 41-year-old woman and 24-year-old man who were in the half-ton truck died at the scene.

Then at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, emergency crews were called to Forest Glen, near Petitcodiac.

Investigators believe the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road on Route 905.

A 33-year-old Shediac woman, a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
