A vacant lot in downtown Kenora has been sold.

Kenora HK Properties Limited has bought to vacant lot on Main Street South for $135,000.

The city has been told the new owners plan to put a pizza restaurant in that location.

Up above the restaurant, the new owners plan to build four affordable housing units that can be rented out by employees.

The lot is the former location of Lila’s Block, which was destroyed by fire in March of 2019.

The city had purchased the property three years ago for $135,000.
