After halting all services and closing down post offices across Nova Scotia yesterday, Canada Post has resumed operations in most of the province.

There are still some areas that are considered too dangerous to access that will have to go with mail service for the time being, but the majority of post offices have reopened.

Canada Post says employee safety is their top priority and will not resume services in any location until they deem it safe to do so. In the meantime, they say they’re continuing to look for solutions to address the parts of the province that remain without mail delivery service.
