A woman was sexually assaulted in the area of Tilbury Lane and Innsbrook Way, July 12 around 10am in Bedford.

Police say a man approached a woman, spoke to her, touched in her in a sexual way then ran away.

Police think the same man might be linked to another incident involving a female youth.

July 18, around 8pm in the same area, a man approached a girl he didn’t know and tried to start a conversation. She then quickly left.

The suspect is described as in his early 20s, approximately 5’8″ tall, slim build, clean shaven, short dark wavy hair, wearing a blue t-shirt and pants and carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident or the identity of suspect, or who has video from the area, is asked to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
