It’s almost time to play ball for a good cause.

The 6th annual JSTRONG Softball tournament takes place this weekend at the Hebron Recreation Complex.

Organizer Steve Berry says they’ve got 24 teams registered, and will have something for everyone.

“Even if you’re not a sports fan, the Chinese auction has a wide range of products from lobster to Blue Jays giveaways. Stop out, enjoy the BBQ as well and support a great cause,” said Berry.

The annual tournament in memory of Jadon Robinson raises money for underprivileged youth to access sports in Yarmouth County.

Berry thanks the volunteers and businesses who donated items for the auction.

The auction is scheduled to wrap up around 3 p.m. Sunday.

Games get underway Friday night and run all day Saturday and Sunday.
