A young person was sexually assaulted at a bus terminal in Lower Sackville.

It was the evening of Thursday, July 13 around 7:15pm on Walker Avenue when a Dartmouth man, groped the victim and made sexual comments, before running away.

Another man, who was with the victim, tried to chase after the suspect and called 911.

RCMP, with the help of the dog team, arrested the 47-year-old.

At the police station, the suspect assaulted an officer while refusing to identify himself.

He will appear in court in August.
