An attempted robbery in Cole Harbour.

It happened early in the evening on Friday near the Forest Hills Parkway.

RCMP say a man was walking near an interseciton when another man came up to him, shook his hand and wouldn’t let go.

The would-be robber demanded the man hand over his bag, but the victim was able to get away..

Anyone with a door or security camera is asked look at footage for anyone matching his description.
