Mayor Pam Mood has provided an update on 8 James Street. She says it will not be used as a halfway house.

On the Town’s Facebook page, she says the legal opinion the CAO has received says the application for the development cannot proceed at this time, including all other applications for other transitional and supportive housing.

This comes after an application was submitted to the planning office for the property to be used as a halfway house.
