New Gold’s Rainy River Mine continues to be on pace for a strong year.

Almost 60 thousand ounces of gold were produced in the last three months.

That is a nearly 40 per cent increase over the same period in 2022.
So far, over 126 thousand ounces have been produced.

That is the best half-year output since 2019, and a 25 per cent increase over last year.

“Strong quarterly production results were attributed to higher mill availability due to the team’s proactive measures taken during the planned maintenance activities,” states Patrick Godin, President and Chief Executive Officer, in a release.

The mine averaged over 23 thousand tonnes per day in the amount of ore going through the mill.
