New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating the death of a 32-year-old woman in Moncton as a homicide.

Around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, Codiac RCMP were called to a disturbance on Belleview Avenue.

Officers found a woman in the street who was suffering from multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital where she later died of her injuries.

A short time later, police stopped a vehicle which had been seen in the area.

Mounties say three people were arrested: a 38-year-old woman from Fredericton, a 49-year-old man from Bloomfield Ridge, and a 28-year-old man from Storeytown.

Anyone with any information about the incident or who has security or dash camera footage is asked to call 1-888-506-RCMP (7267).
