Racing report for July 10

Jeff Davis of Devlin was the winner in the WISSOTA Modified feature on Saturday at Emo Speedway.

It is Davis’ second win of the season.

The win gives Davis a 37-point edge over Brody Strachan, also from Devlin, in the standings.

In the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature, Cody Ossachuk of Fort Frances was the feature winner for the first time this season.

He’s now third in the standings behind leader Jamies Lambert of Fort Frances and Jesse Thompson of Emo, who finished second and third, respectively, in the feature.

Tylar Wilson of Fort Frances captured his third street stock feature of the season to increase his leading int the standings to 88 points over Dean Kellar, who failed to finish.

Elsewhere, Tanner Williamson of Fort Frances had a ninth place in the modified feature at Hibbing Raceway on Friday, 24th at Viking Speedway in Alexandria, Minnesota, on Saturday, and sixth in the feature at Buffalo River Speeday in Glyndon, Minnesota ,on Sunday.

Scott Thompson of International Falls was eighth in the midwest modified feature at Hibbing on Friday.

Matt Depiero of Fort Frances raced at Proctor on Sunday and placed eighth in the modified feature.
