Lake Milo closed due to high bacteria levels

By Kevin Northup Jul 7, 2023 | 6:40 AM

Lake Milo is closed to swimmers.

Higher than normal bacteria levels has caused the shutdown.

Yarmouth Recreation recommends never swallowing water, or putting open sores or wounds in it.

They say the high bacteria could be caused by the heavy rain we’ve received, or a high level of swimmers.
