Outflow from the Norman Dam into the Winnipeg River is being reduced once again.

The Lake of the Woods Control Board says despite rain last week, lake levels are still below normal for this time of year.

Water levels are expected to decrease for the next couple of weeks and a couple of decreases in outflow are taking place.

The first is today and another is planned for later this week.

As a result, water levels below the Norman Dam will go down just over 14 centimeters and 8.5 centimeters at the Dalles.
