Two young people have been charged with hate motivated mischief in Beechville.

RCMP say it was around 9:30pm Monday night when they responded to a break and enter at Ridgecliff Middle School on Beech Tree Run.

When they got there, they arrested two youths who had spray painted graffiti on the school and some of it was considered to be hateful toward a certain group.

The youths are scheduled in court later this month, however RCMP have recommended they be referred to a youth restorative justice.
