Racing returns to Lake of the Woods Speedway in 2023 with the Season Opener this Sunday, July 2 with the Q104 WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, WISSOTA Pure Stocks, 4-Cylinders, and the Riverview Industries WISSOTA Modifieds.

Gates open at 3:30 p.m., Hot Laps (Warm-Ups) at 4 p.m. and Racing starts at 4:30 p.m.

“The first races of the season are sometimes the most nail-biting,” said Anthony Leek, President of Kenora Motorsports Entertainment.

“New and veteran drivers get into the mix quick. The Riverview Industries WISSOTA Modifieds are one of the fastest cars on dirt and we only have them a few times a year. You won’t want to miss it.”
