The Ontario Fire Marshall says the cause of a fatal fire on 18th Avenue North has been classified as undetermined.

Fire fire claimed the lives of two people on May 26th.

In the report from the Fire Marshall, the blaze originated in a raised covered wood deck.

The flames then climbed up an exterior wall, into the attic space and into the dining area.

The fire then spread into the rest of the house.

Fire chief Dave Pratt says because the damage was so extensive, they weren’t able to determined what started the blaze.
