Officers with the Canada Border Services Agency at the Pigeon River crossing say they seized an undeclared firearm late last month.
On May 23rd while searching the vehicle of an American traveling into Canada, officers discovered a .25 calibre pistol.
It is unknown if the weapon was loaded when it was found, however the image tweeted by CBSA shows a loaded magazine along with a box of cartridges.
The no charges were issued, but the firearm, a penalty of $1000 CAN was issued and the traveler was sent back to the United States.
