A 73-year-old Ontario man is facing a charge of armed robbery.
RCMP says it happened at a bank on Cornhill Street in Moncton on June 12.
A man who was believed to be carrying a firearm demanded money from the teller and then fled with some cash.
On June 20th, officers searched the downtown area looking for a person of interest and located the suspect from St. Catherines later in the day.
He is being held in custody while awaiting another court appearance tomorrow.
