Two Geraldton residents have been arrested following a raid at a home in the Greenstone area this past weekend.
Members of the Greenstone detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police aided by the service’s Crime, Street Crime and K-9 units entered the home around 5:00 p.m Saturday.
Officers seized undisclosed amounts of cocaine, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as Canadian currency, an imitation firearm and drug trafficking equipment.
A 28 year old Geraldton man faces the following charges:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Failure to Comply with Release Order – two counts
Meanwhile, a 27 year old man also of Geraldton, faces:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Both were held in custody with the 27 year old appearing in a Greenstone courtroom Wednesday and while the 28 year old will appear at a later date.
