Motorists and pedestrians will have to take the long way around on William Street this week.

This is to facilitate repair work on the William Street bridge.

The closure is expected to last five days and during working hours the walking trail underneath the bridge will be closed.

Local traffic into businesses will still be permitted but will impact those traveling between Gold Links Road and Balmoral Street.

Motorists are asked to drive with caution and to obey the construction signs.
