A 46 year old man is facing drug charges after being arrested in downtown Kenora.

Just before 11pm on May 28th, the OPP responded to an altercation between two people on Matheson Street South.

During their investigation, police found out that one of the men was wanted on a warrant for a previous drug offense.

He was arrested and officers found a large quantity of illegal drugs.

Charges of trafficking cocaine and magic mushrooms have been laid.

He’s due to appear in Kenora court at the end of June.
