If you see firefighters in Waverley Tuesday, June 6, be aware Halifax Fire will be training at the Firefighter’s school on Powder Mill Rd.
The city says you may see smoke in the area as result, but that there is no risk to the community. The training is a critical component of recruit training class.
They are reminding residence to call 911 if you see smoke or fire out of the ordinary.
