He was supposed to be touring Atlantic Canada promoting a new whisky business but actor Kiefer Sutherland made a quick pivot when he heard about the plight of hundreds of Nova Scotians impacted by the wildfires.
Sutherland and his business partners just announced the launch of Red Bank Whisky back in May. He has made a number of appearances over the last week including one in Dieppe NB where people lined up to get a bottle signed.
The Canadian entertainer who has starred in the hit television series 24 is hoping to raise $100,000 for the Red Cross wildfire relief program. He has a new series out called Rabbit Hole and is also putting out an album.
