A man has been arrested after he allegedly followed and approached individuals in downtown Moncton.

Codiac RCMP say a man was taken into custody after multiple reports over a four day period (May 23-26) last week.

Through an investigation and with help from the public, police identified a 20-year-old Moncton man as a person of interest and he was arrested last Friday.

In provincial court on Tuesday, the man was charged with criminal harassment and breach of probation.

He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on Monday (June 5).
