The third and final sentencing in the murder of Yarmouth’s Colton Cook.

On Tuesday, Wayne Crawford was given an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for 10 years for second degree murder.

Crawford was involved in Cook’s murder and dismemberment in September, 2020 in South Ohio.

His body was found on Saunders Road days later.

In Yarmouth Provincial Court, he apologized to the victim’s mother, Stacey Cook.

She wants to know why her son was killed.

“Maybe sometime he’ll feel free to let me know the rest of the story. Out of the three of them (Crawford) seemed to be most sympathetic and knew what he did was wrong,’ said Stacey Cook.

Robert Rogers was sentenced to life with no parole for 19 years for second degree murder.

He fired the initial shot at Cook, then Crawford stabbed the victim.

Keith Siscoe Jr. was given three years for accessory after the fact to murder.

Stacey Cook says her fight is not over, as she’s working to get laws changed, to make sure violent offenders can’t get out of prison.
