RCMP issued 256 tickets were issued under the New Brunswick Motor Vehicle Act during RCMP traffic stops.

Officers pulled over vehicles in urban and rural areas of Greater Moncton on May 24 and 25.

Twenty-two vehicles were towed, several with fake inspection stickers.

One person was arrested for driving while impaired, and five others for driving with a suspended license.

Fifty tickets were handed out for drivers using a hand-held electronic device, and 32 tickets for not wearing a seatbelt.
