31-year-old New Minas man killed in ATV crash, another airlifted to hospital

Mounties are looking into two serious ATV crashes on the long weekend.

A 31-year-old man from New Minas is dead after his machine left the road and ended up in a field.

It happened just before 6 a.m. on Monday morning in Spa Springs.

Meantime, a 47-year-old Shelburne man was airlifted to hospital after he was pinned under his side by side in New Tusket.

Police say his injuries are serious but he’s expected to survive.
