A Thunder Bay woman who opted to grab the Encore on her Lottario ticket is pretty glad she did in the April 1st draw.

Deana Ross matched the last 6 of the 7 numbers picking herself up a $100,000 win.

The 62 year old wife and mother has been playing the lottery most of her life, and says it was just a regular morning before checking her ticket.

“It was quite a rush – definitely a ‘pinch me’ moment,”she said when she collected her prize in Toronto. My husband ran to the store and checked the ticket to confirm it was real!”

She says she hasn’t made any big plans for her winnings just yet, saying she will take some time to enjoy it as a family.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Red River Road in Thunder Bay.
