With the snow melted from our lawns we all now get to go about cleaning up those lawns from whatever was left over from last fall.

To help in that the City of Thunder Bay is announcing spring leaf and yard waste collection will take place between Tuesday May 16th and Friday May 26th.

Pickup dates will be on your regular recycling day.

Residents are asked to place their leaf and yard waste in Kraft paper bags for collection.

Bundles of branches and sticks with rope or twine will also be accepted but must be less than 1 metre in length and 61 cm in diameter.

There is no limit to the number of items but each item must weigh less than 18 kilograms.
