A focus is being put on housing needs for the City of Dieppe.

A survey has been posted online for public input, to update its statistics so it can take more effective measures.

Last December, Dieppe set aside $250,000 for affordable housing for 2023, with the hopes of encouraging the development of housing to meet the demand from families with varying incomes.

“The question of housing is often in the news, and we want to determine what type of housing is needed in the municipality so that we can better meet the needs of our growing population,” said Charles-Éric Landry, a planner with the City.

The survey will be available until June 15.
