Seventy years after Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation, King Charles III will be officially crowned tomorrow in a momentous event for Britain and Commonwealth countries, including Canada.

To celebrate the occasion, Ontario Provincial Parks and cultural attractions will be offering free admission throughout the entire coronation weekend.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore 39 Ontario provincial parks and cultural attractions, including Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, Kakabeka Falls, and Fort William Historical Park in the Thunder Bay area, as well as Rushing River, Aaron Lake, Blue Lake and Caliper Lake.

Guests are advised to book their daily permits in advance through the Ontario Parks website.
